Romans Exposed (Part 26)

Romans 11.28-36

Romans 11.28 As concerning the gospel, they are enemies for your sakes: but as touching the election, they are beloved for the fathers' sakes.
29 For the gifts and calling of God are without repentance.
30 For as ye in times past have not believed God, yet have now obtained mercy through their unbelief:
31 Even so have these also now not believed, that through your mercy they also may obtain mercy.
32 For God hath concluded them all in unbelief, that he might have mercy upon all.

In plain English Babble-on is saying:

28 All Jews except me are the enemies of my gospel. The Jews only war against my preaching for the sake of you Christians, though. And even though the Lord's disciples war against my gospel, they remain God's chosen people just because they are Jews. The reason all Jews remain beloved by God is just so God can honor the Jewish fathers named Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Samuel, Moses, David, Isaiah, Jeremiah, etc. Thus, even though God sawed off all Jews except me from my tree of salvation, the Jews nevertheless get to go to Heaven just because they are Jews.
29 Now you know that I am telling you the truth, because God never repents. He never changes His mind. He never takes away the gifts of Spirituality and elect, chosen status from the people -- the Jews -- whom He elected and chose during Old Testament times. Yes, I know that I already told you that God already cut off all Jews except me from salvation. Well, I lied. So what? Our lies glorify God, you know. Heh-heh.
30 Now you know that I am telling you the truth. After all, in times past you Gentiles did not believe God. Even so, now you have obtained God's mercy. You only gained God's mercy by means of the Jews' lack of belief in God, however. After all, God had to have SOMEBODY believe in Him, and by creative design, there just isn't enough human belief in God to go around. Therefore, God had to steal away the Jews' belief in Him in order to hand their former belief in Him over to you Christians.
31 Even so, now the Jews have taken your former place as the people who do not believe God. The only reason that the Jews do not believe God anymore is just so that they might also obtain mercy by means of the mercy expressed by all you Gentile Christians. Experiencing the mercy of humans is MUCH better than experiencing God's mercy, you know. Heh-heh.
32 Therefore, mean old God Himself has forced all Jews to stop believing Him in me. He did that just so He might have mercy upon all people, Jews and Gentiles alike. Yeah, yeah, I know I said there was only so much belief in God to go around. So I lied. So what? My lies glorify God, you know. And if you don't like it that the Creator forces some people to believe in Him while He forces other people to not believe in Him, blame mean old stingy God for not having enough mercy inside Himself to go around. Heh-heh.

Naturally what Paul is saying is absolute blasphemy against the power and glory of God and His creation of humanity. God indeed has enough love and mercy to provide for everybody. That He can communicate with every single person on planet Earth in the same moment sending a different message to each person according to our situation in life never ceases to astound me.

And for anybody to blame God for the human failure to believe Him as if God had not created enough human capacity to love God to go around is absolute madness. That I know, most children and every able-minded teenager and adult has the capacity to love and believe God, and is responsible for his own beliefs and behaviors. I do not believe Bill Wilson's suggestion that some people are born lacking the capacity to be honest. Being honest is a choice we make.

One of the ways that God created mankind in His image is that the love in our heart is potentially infinite. Assuming other people are worthy, the human heart is capable of loving every single person with whom we come in contact. Parents, grandparents, etc. who arbitrarily and irrationally play favorites among children and grandchildren are so offensive to me. I watched one of my former inlaws do much damage to one of my children by playing that "favorites" game. She thought she could win more love from her favorite grandsons by expressing preferential treatment to them while shunning the other. Instead, when her "favorite" grandsons grew up and saw the senseless harm she had done in showing preferential treatment to them, she lost their respect for her, too.

The next verses help to explain why the collection of Paul's letters form the little book that when tasted in the mouth is (on the surface sounds as) sweet as honey, but when eaten (swallowed / believed) turns a person into a bitter-belly who loves to hate per Revelation 10.10.

33 O the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! how unsearchable are his judgments, and his ways past finding out!
34 For who hath known the mind of the Lord? or who hath been his counseller?
35 Or who hath first given to him, and it shall be recompensed unto him again?
36 For of him, and through him, and to him, are all things: to whom be glory for ever. Amen.

Doesn't that sound sweet? Actually what Paul is saying is another call for regurgitation, for those verses are loaded with blasphemies aimed at seducing Christians into not studying the Bible for themselves, and into not trusting their own experiences of God. Watch.

33 Oh, the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable are His judgments and His ways past finding out! So thou shalt NOT search the scriptures to discover God's judgment, the Way He has established for humans who will gain salvation to behave, nor study to learn the ways that God rewards all the humans who believe and obey Him. You will be wasting your time! Trust MY lies and blasphemies against God instead, you suckers! Heh-heh. After all, who has known the mind of the Lord? Nobody!

Wrongo! The prophets and every single person in the advanced stages of Spirituality know and understand God's thinking. The primary point of the Bible is to enable us humans to know and understand God's wisdom and judgments. Each person's getting to know God and why He judges and thinks as He does is a basic requirement of salvation.

Listen to what the Master says.

"For there shall arise false Christs and false prophets, and shall show great signs and wonders insomuch that if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect... Wherefore if they shall say unto you, 'Behold, ... He is in the secret chambers!' believe it not." Matthew 24.24-26

That is a direct hit on Paul, because in Romans 11.33 Paul is the same as saying that the Lord is in secret chambers so that nobody can get to know Him and His thinking, mind, wisdom.

The disciples came and said to Him, "Why do you speak to them in parables?" He answered, "Because it is given unto you to know the mysteries of the Kingdom of Heaven, but to them it is not given." Matthew 13.10-11

Again the Lord is confronting Paul's lies as being abSAULute blasphemy, because God's children do perceive the mysteries of the Bible and know the mind of God. That Paul and you Christians do not is exposed in your preference to answer, "That's just another one of those mysteries of God that man is never supposed to understand!" whenever people ask you to explain your babble.

Jesus repeats the Doctrine in Mark, and explains why.

And He said unto His disciples, "Unto you it is given to know the mystery of the Kingdom of God, but unto them that are without all these things are done in parables that seeing they may see and not perceive, and hearing they may hear and not understand, lest at any time they should be converted, and their sins should be forgiven them." Mark 4.11-12

The understood extension to that last verse is:

"THEN when they become my disciples (students and followers), they shall see, hear, understand, and know the mystery of the Kingdom of God, too."

Too bad none of you Christians have been converted, nor have your sins been forgiven, nor have you been the Lord's disciple (student and follower).

"For the Kingdom of Heaven is like unto treasure hidden in a field which, when a man has found, he hides and for joy thereof goes and sells all that he has and buys that field." Matthew 13.44
And some of the Pharisees from among the multitude said unto Him, "Master, rebuke your disciples!" but He answered, "I tell you that if these should hold their peace, the stones would immediately cry out." And when He was come near to Jerusalem, He beheld the city and wept over it saying, "If you had known, even you at least in this your day the things which belong unto your peace! But now they are hidden from your eyes, for the days shall come upon you that your enemies shall cast a trench about you, and compass you round, and keep you in on every side, and shall lay you even with the ground, and your children within you, and they shall not leave in you one stone upon another, because you knew not the time of your visitation." Luke 19.39-44

That prophecy was fulfilled between 66 and 70 A.D. when the Romans stole the treasures of the temple and tore it down.

In that hour Jesus rejoiced in Spirit and said, "I thank you, O Father, Lord of Heaven and earth, that you have hidden these things from the wise and prudent, and have revealed them unto babes. Even so, Father, for so it seemed good in your sight. All things are delivered to me of my Father, and no man knows who the Son is but the Father, and who the Father is but the Son and he to whom the Son will reveal Him." Luke 10.21-22
When there were gathered together an innumerable multitude of people, insomuch that they tread one upon another, He began to say unto His disciples first of all, "Beware of the leaven of the Pharisees which is hypocrisy, for there is nothing covered that shall not be revealed, neither hidden that shall not be known." Luke 12.1-2
The disciple (each of God's children) is not above his Master (Jesus), nor the servant (the person who does the works commanded by God and who, therefore, serves Him) above his Lord. It is enough for the disciple that he be as his Master, and the servant as his Lord. If they have called the Master of the House Beelzebub, how much more shall they call them of His household? Fear them not, therefore, for there is nothing covered that shall not be revealed, and hidden that shall not be known." Matthew 10.24-26
"If you continue in my Word, then are you my disciples indeed, and you shall know the Truth, and the Truth shall make you free." John 8.31-32
"I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life. No man comes unto the Father but by me. If you had known me you should have known my Father also, and from henceforth you know Him and have seen Him." John 14.6-7

When Jesus was explaining to His disciples about why He had to be crucified and return to Spirit form, He talked about what would happen to Spirit-led humans thereafter.

"When the Comforter is come whom I will send to you from the Father, the Spirit of Truth which proceeds from the Father, He shall testify of me. And you also shall bear witness because you have been with me from the beginning." John 15.26-27
"It is expedient for you that I go away, for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come to you. But if I depart, I will send Him to you. And when He is come, He will reprove the world of sin, of righteousness and of judgment -- of sin because they believe not on me, of righteousness because I go to my Father and you see me no more, of judgment because the prince of this world is judged.
I have yet many things to say to you, but you cannot bear them now. Howbeit, when He, the Spirit of Truth is come, He will guide you into ALL Truth, for He shall not speak of Himself, but whatsoever He shall hear, that shall He speak. And He will show you things to come." John 16.7-14
"EVERYONE that is of the Truth hears my voice." John 18.37

That you Christians do not hear His voice informs the whole world that you are NOT of Truth. So stop calling yourselves born-again Christians, you liars and phonies!

"If you love me, keep my commandments, and I will pray the Father, and He shall give you another Comforter that He may abide with you forever -- even the Spirit of Truth whom the world cannot receive bcause it sees Him not, neither knows Him, but you know Him, for He dwells with you and shall be in you." John 14.14-18
"No man when he has lit a candle covers it with a vessel, or puts it under a bed, but sets it on a candlestick that they which enter in may see the light, for nothing is secret that shall not be made manifest; neither is anything hidden that shall not be known and come abroad. Take heed therefore how you hear, for whosoever has, to him shall be given; and whosoever has not, from him shall be taken even that which he SEEMS to have." Luke 8.16-18

From the time of Jesus resurrection to Spirit form ever onward, any human who repented and actually BELIEVED the Gospel would have been guided into ALL Truth.

Now I want to show you something else. First listen to Romans 11.33-36 again.

33 Oh, the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable are His judgments and His ways past finding out, 34for who has known the mind of the Lord, or who has been His counselor, 35or who has first given to Him and it shall be recompensed to Him again? 36For of Him, through Him, and to Him are all things -- to whom be glory forever! Amen.

Now watch Paul answer himself from Romans 1.20-21.

That which may be known of God is manifested in the Jews and the Greeks, for God has shown it to them, for the invisible things of Him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, because they are understood by the things (the Jews and the Greeks) that are made -- even His eternal power and Godhead, so that the Jews and Greeks have no excuse for being cast away by God.

And you Christians still think that Paul does not vacillate back and forth teaching lies that war against one another?

In addition to Paul making these false claims to seduce and pressure Christian perishoners into not studying the Bible on their own -- into their not letting the Master teach them One-on-one (which is a basic requirement for gaining salvation) -- Paul had another sneaky motive going on. He was also suckering Christians into believing that any Spirit-led person who comes along saying, "I have the answers you're looking for," is to be totally mocked, shunned, persecuted... by Paul's Christians because according to their Satan-god, perceiving the mystery of God is impossible. What a sneaky slimeball! Watch him pull another sneaky stunt.

Who has been God's counselor? Nobody!

Get real! The prophets and every person who talks it out with God. The story of Abraham provides a perfect example of how God's children counsel God. At the beginning of Genesis 18 we are told about Jesus appearing in human form to Abraham. Had He and the angels with Him not been in human form, the thought to provide dinner to Jesus and the angels would never have entered Abraham's mind. The story of how and why Abraham counseled the Lord begins in verse 16. To counsel somebody is to advise; i.e., give advice, especially as a result of consultation. Where Abraham was counseling the Lord is highlighted in red.

Genesis 18. 16 And the men rose up from thence (Abraham's place), and looked toward Sodom. And Abraham went with them to bring them on the way. 17And the Lord said, "Shall I hide from Abraham that thing which I do 18seeing that Abraham shall surely become a great and mighty nation, and all the nations of the earth shall be blessed in him? 19For I know him -- that he will command his children and his household after him, and they shall keep the way of the Lord to do justice and judgment so that the Lord may bring upon Abraham that which He has spoken of him."
20 And the Lord said, "Because the cry of Sodom and Gomorrah is great, and because their sin is very grievous, 21I will go down now and see whether they have done altogether according to the cry of it which is come unto me. And if not, I will know."
22 And the men turned their faces from thence and went toward Sodom, but Abraham stood yet before the Lord. 23And Abraham drew near, and said, "Will you also destroy the righteous with the wicked? 24Peradventure there be fifty righteous within the city, will you also destroy and not spare the place for the fifty righteous that are therein? 25Be that far from you to do after this manner, Lord. To slay the righteous with the wicked, and that the righteous should be treated as the wicked, let that be far from you! Shall not the Judge of all the earth do right?"
26 And the Lord said, "If I find in Sodom fifty righteous people within the city, then I will spare all the place for their sakes."
27 And Abraham answered, "Behold now. I, which am but dust and ashes, have taken upon me to speak unto the Lord. 28Peradventure there shall lack five of the fifty righteous, will you destroy all the city for lack of five?" And He said, "If I find there forty-five, I will not destroy it."
29 And he spoke unto Him yet again and said, "Peradventure there shall be forty found there?" and He said, "I will not do it for forty's sake."
30 And he said unto Him, "Oh let not the Lord be angry, and I will speak. Peradventure there shall thirty be found there?" And He said, "I will not do it if I find thirty there."
31 And he said, "Behold now, I have taken upon me to speak unto the Lord. Peradventure there shall be twenty found there?" And He said, "I will not destroy it for twenty's sake."
32 And he said, "Oh, let not the Lord be angry, and I will speak yet but this once. Peradventure ten shall be found there?" And He said, "I will not destroy it for ten's sake."
33 And the Lord went His way as soon as He had left communing with Abraham, and Abraham returned unto his place.

Abraham knew that God was very angry, so he begged the Lord to not kill all those people of Sodom and Gomorrha if anybody there was a righteous person. Abraham also knew that the Lord is exceedingly superior to humans, so in his counseling of the Lord, Abraham expressed great respect and deferential treatment to Him. God LOVES such forms of counseling Him, too, because we are expressing our love for human life and our desire to save it, not destroy it. To have such a heart is certainly in line with the will of God.

One of the ways that I essentially counseled the Lord like Abraham did came while studying the Gospel. When I got to Luke 18.7-8 and saw:

"Shall not God avenge His own elect who cry day and night unto Him though He bears long with them? I tell you that He will avenge them speedily. Nevertheless, when the Son of man comes, shall He find faith on the earth?"

it scared me knowing how far people are into sin and how severe of the consequences for those sins are going to be. Therefore, I immediately responded, "YES, Lord! PLEASE let there be faith on the earth. Give people at least one more big chance to come to know and serve you before you avenge your elect. Otherwise, your ministry on earth will have been almost all for nought."

God loved my counseling. It isn't like we are telling Him anything He doesn't already know. It's just that by expressing ourselves in a counseling manner, we are expressing our understanding of salvation. In turn, such verbal expressions reveal TO US that we are being drawn into God's deeper thinking. And from what I have experienced since then, I know that His answer was essentially, "Okay." Then He put it back on me to do all that I can to see to it that people have one more big chance to know and serve Him.

Back to the pukehead Paul.

35 Who has first given to Him?

Every single person who repents of his sins gives to God first before God reveals Himself to the repentant person.

How shall it be recompensed unto Him again?

Easy. Once we experience God and know how glorious He is, we dive into the Gospel to swallow up the Savior's Doctrine. Then every time we do good works in compliance with Jesus' Doctrine, we are recompensing God for His amazing grace. In turn, He lets us know that our good works are blessing Him by means of His stroking us with the comforts of the Comforter. Back and forth -- us doing good works to please Him, His stroking us to notify us that He is indeed pleased -- is the action of reciprocity in the gaining of salvation.

One of the ways the Son of man has been stroking me lately when He likes what I say in meetings is by tickling me with a light fluttery feeling inside back behind my belly button. That I can recall, it's only been going on for a year or two, and it's such a neat feeling.

36 NO, no, NO! NOBODY can give anything to God, for of Him, and through Him, and to Him are all things to whom be glory for ever. Amen.

Amen? Where's the prayer? Do you not see how Paul was seducing Christians into holding false beliefs about God, Jews, themselves, and what is required of salvation? In order to gain salvation, we MUST:

  • give to Him first by repenting of our sins;
  • study the Bible -- the Gospel first -- on our own in order to get to know the wisdom and judgment of God;
  • recompense God for His amazing grace by doing good works,
  • communicate with Him and even counsel Him from a position of deferring to His extreme superiority to us; and even
  • mentally picture ourselves in God's shoes asking ourselves questions like, "If I had the power of God, what would I do in this particular situation?" Then we think it through and discover that God's judgment and wisdom are astonishingly superior to our own.

Now I am going to show you a paragraph from the Big Book of Alcoholics Anonymous that carries on with Paul's false assertions made in Romans 11.36, "No human can give anything to God, for of Him, and through Him, and to Him are all things." The following paragraph is of extreme importance because of its positive and negative impacts on the beliefs, attitudes, and behaviors of recovering people.

...Acceptance is the answer to all my problems today. When I am disturbed, it is because I find some person, place, thing, or situation--some fact of my life--unacceptable to me, and I can find no serenity until I accept that person, place, thing, or situation as being exactly the way it is supposed to be at this moment. Nothing, absolutely nothing happens in God's world by mistake. Until I could accept my alcoholism, I could not stay sober; unless I accept life completely on life's terms, I cannot be happy. I need to concentrate not so much on what needs to be changed in the world as on what needs to be changed in me and in my attitudes. Alcoholics Anonymous. Third Edition. Alcoholics Anonymous World Services, Inc. New York City. 1976. p.449

The author of this paragraph is both very right and very wrong. When we enter recovery, each person must admit to our innermost self that we are an alcoholic, drug addict, codependent, overeater, gambling addict, rageaholic, (whatever our core dis-ease is), and keep the focus on self-improvement. However, when the author Dr. Paul says that we must accept another person, place, thing, or situation "as being exactly the way it is supposed to be at this moment," and "nothing, absolutely nothing happens in God's world by mistake," he stepped WAY out of bounds. When I was out there drinking and making an ass of myself, I was not being exactly the way I was supposed to be at that moment. And when some priest rapes a little boy, or those Muslim terrorists dove those airplanes into the Twin Trade Towers and the Pentagon on September 11, 2002, not one of them was being the way he was supposed to be at that moment.

What we MUST accept in order to be happy is our dis-ease, our own powerlessness over our disease, and our powerlessness to control what other people think, feel, and do. Then we can let go of controlling behaviors, and focus on ourselves and what we CAN do to help bring the madness to a screeching halt.

By the grace of God I have heard Dr. Paul speak at A.A. roundups, and the man is a beauty. What a powerful message he carries. And what is so interesting about him is that he has reached a higher level of Spirituality wherein he no longer practices acceptance as he wrote it in the Big Book. He saw and heard A.A.'s (recovering alcoholics) degrade and malign Al-Anons (the family members and loved ones of alcoholics/drug addicts), and he spoke up BIG time against it. As a result of his speaking up against that intolerance, much snooty, alcoholic self-exaltation came to a screeching halt. And as a result of the profound positive impact his speaking up had on disarming that madness, Dr. Paul learned experientially that just speaking up against obnoxious beliefs, attitudes, and behaviors WORKS to disarm them.

What too many of the people who have not heard Dr. Paul speak do wrong is that they use and abuse his paragraph from page 449 of the Big Book to sit around dead on their asses not speaking up against anything. In other words, they use that paragraph to remain irresponsible by refusing to take the risks of verbally confronting other people's errant beliefs and behaviors -- risks that full recovery requires and that Dr. Paul practices beautifully in reality.

The bottom line to evil in the world is this. Did God create evil, Satan, Paul, Muhammad, etc.? Yes. Why? To test us. Without evil in the world, we humans would have no challenges to overcome in proving our loyalty to God. God did not make us robots. However, the performance of evil by humans has NEVER been God's will for us.

It is your Father's good pleasure to give you the Kingdom of Heaven." Luke 12.32

God gives us the Kingdom of Heaven when we do good works. We only learn what constitutes good works when we study the Gospel and obey God's commandments. Only by obeying His commandments do we come to believe God. Why? Because then we experience His blessings, and the experiences of His blessings solidifies our belief in Him.
