The Misogyny of Paul (Part 13)

Xian and Muslim Sex Discrimination Confronted

Along the way, I met a woman who had been raped by an uncle -- her mother's brother -- when she was six years old. When she told her mother, her mother commanded her to not tell her father because the mother feared that her husband might murder her brother.

The rape victim informed me that for most of her life thereafter, she felt bad about herself. Her feelings of self-degradation and false guilt stemmed directly from her being raised a Catholic, and the Catholic church's exaltation of Maria Goretti.

Explaining how the Catholic church is directly responsible for inflicting the rape victim with the heavy burden of false guilt requires first telling you about "Saint" Maria Goretti as the church presents her to Catholic children. The story cited herein comes from Father Lovasik, S.V.D.'s Book of Saints, Part 2, NIHIL OBSTAT: Daniel V. Flynn, J.C.D., Censor Librorum, IMPRIMATUR: James P. Mahoney, D.D., Vicar General, Archdiocese of New York, Catholic Book Publishing Co., N.Y., 1981, page 14.
Saint Maria Goretti
Maria was a beautiful Italian girl of twelve who lived on a farm. One day Alessandro, a nineteen-year-old boy, who was working on the farm, stopped at Maria's house and wanted to do wrong with her.
"No! No!" Maria cried out. "Do not touch me, Alessandro! It is a sin. You will go to hell!"
When Maria began to fight him, he took a knife and stabbed her fourteen times. Maria fell to the floor with a cry of pain: "O God, I am dying! Mamma!" Alessandro ran out of the room.
Maria was taken to the hospital and suffered there for two days. When the priest asked her if she would forgive her murderer, she said: "Yes, I forgive him for the love of Jesus, and I want him to be with me in heaven. May God forgive him!"
Maria died kissing the crucifix and holding a medal of the Blessed Virgin Mary. This happened in 1902.
Maria Goretti was canonized by Pope Pius XII in 1950. She was chosen to be the patron of boys and girls, that she might help them to be pure.

Now just in case the reader does not see through this monstrosity, the story is re-cited, this time adding comments that highlight the insanities.
Saint Maria Goretti

The Catholic whore doesn't believe in using such direct terminology as "Alessandro wanted to have sex with her." If the Cataholics did not want to discuss sex with their little children, then they ought not to be teaching this story, for at its very foundation is not just the issue of human sexuality, but rape.
"No! No!" Maria cried out. "Do not touch me, Alessandro! It is a sin. You will go to hell!"

Give me a break. Do you honestly believe that a child of God who is about to be raped is going to be soooooo self-sacrificing that the first thing he/she thinks about is the salvation of the rapist? Not so.

Well, excuuuuuuuuuse me, your hyenasses, but Maria's wanting a murdering rapist slimeball from Hell to be with her in Heaven displays EXTREME ignorance and zero love for Jesus! One of the multitudinous benefits of the Heaven of the afterlife is that we do not have to rub elbows with terrorists, rapists and murderers ever again! We want RECOVERED terrorists, rapists, and murderers in Heaven with us, but not active ones like Alessandro. Had Maria been a child of God, she would have known better than to make such a ludicrous statement.
Maria died kissing the crucifix and holding a medal of the Blessed Virgin Mary. This happened in 1902.

Therein was the double-crossing Maria promoting the graven image of the beast named religion -- the cross with the Savior's mutilated and dead body still dangling from it -- while simultaneously worshiping the number one false god of Roman Catholicism: Mary. Notice again, too, that back in paragraph 4, Heaven is decapitalized, while the Catholics' pagan goddess named Mary is again capitalized as a "Blessed Virgin".

Maria Goretti was canonized by Pope Pius XII in 1950. She was chosen to be the patron of boys and girls, that she might help them to be pure.

So how did this story only serve to inflict the Catholic victim of rape with a huge pile of false guilt?
Go back to the third paragraph to see how Maria fought off her rapist.
Then re-read the final sentence in the story wherein Maria "was chosen to be the patron of boys and girls, that she might help them to be pure."

Therein are Catholic victims of rape taught loud and clear that they are "bad" and "impure" if:
they had not fought off their bigger, stronger attackers, and
lived through the attack.

And that is exactly what my Catholic friend felt guilty about -- that at the age of six, she had not fought off her uncle and been murdered during the attack. Imagine that. A child and young women feeling guilty for not being murdered while she was being whore-ably asSAULted! The Catholic church is nothing more nor less than a whore! So you really want rape victims to think that they are "bad" and "impure" because they did not fight back and were not murdered during their victimizations, eh, Cataholics?

The same stinking thinking certainly invaded America's legal justice system wherein if a rape victim could not prove that she had fought off her attacker, SHE was held to blame for the attack as if SHE had seduced him into raping her, while HE got off scot free. And in the process of such attempted prosecutions, female victims have suffered complete character assassinations, you wholly cow-eyed Christians!

So, what was Maria Goretti and the six year old Catholic victim of rape supposed to do when they were being attacked? Obeying this:
"Resist not evil. But whosoever shall smite you on your right cheek, turn to him the other also." Matthew 5.39

The Master Spiritually amplifies that Doctrine within God's children. When we are in certain hostile situations, He inserts, "Turn the other cheek," into our brain, thereby notifying us that we are in a potentially deadly situation, and to let the attacker have at it. To fight back in such situations would all too likely result in much more harm being done to us. And therein is one of the ways that He protects us from being further harmed or murdered.

In other words, my Catholic friend's "turning the other cheek" by letting her rapist have at it was doing EXACTLY what God wanted her to do in that situation. For a six year old girl to have fought off a drunken adult male is very likely to have incited even more emotional intoxication in him, thereby causing him to harm her even more. Afterwards, she told on him exactly like God wanted her to do. That her mother:
coerced her daughter into shutting her mouth, and
failed to report the rape to law enforcement

is obscene! The result of more Catholic upbringing, eh, papassy?

Therein do you Catholic popes and priests become the fulfillment of Isaiah 9.16:
The leaders of this people cause them to err as when my Catholic friend carried around a super-heavy load of false guilt -- guilt inflicted on her by her church for her having obeyed the will of God -- and they that are led of them are destroyed.

In the case of my friend, however, she is now a recovering Catholic in the anonymous 12-Step programs, and enjoys great freedom from all that false guilt.

In short, Maria Goretti ain't a saint, and any human being who promotes her canonization is NOT destined for Heaven!
